Some Tips In Choosing The Right Songs To Play With Guitar

Learning how to play guitar is not only based on just strumming the chords, it includes on how you learn to play the songs. It's very obvious that if you are a newbie, playing guitar is very difficult. For those who have less patience to learn things, they would find it difficult to learn to play guitar.

Here some guidelines that you must consider when choosing a song to play with a guitar:

1. The best time to choose songs and play a song with a guitar is after the beginner has mastered the basic skills of guitar playing. He should already know how to hold a guitar, strum and tune the guitar.

2. He must know the basic chords together with a difficult one before choosing a song. A beginner must first familiarize the chords before selecting a song that he/she wants to play.

3. He needs to practice shifting chords before he can play a song. He should practice by continuously moving the fingers to learn the different chords. This will make the fingers more flexible when changing chords.

4. Select songs that use only basic chords. It is essential to begin with a song that has only 2 or 3 chords.

5. The songs that he chooses should not also be too up-tempo so that he can easily follow along with the chords and the speed of the song. A beginner may have a difficult time following the chords and shifting his fingers if the song is too fast - started with the slower mellow ones.

6. Songs like "as tears go by" by rolling stones, "day tripper" by the beatles and many more are easy to play with a guitar because they have basic chords and they are not very fast tempo. There man songs that are available in the web that you can choose to start practicing guitar.

It is essential to keep in mind beginners don't need to rush and jumpstart into playing songs right away. Playing the chords of a different song is one of the greatest improvements of beginners. Choosing an easy song first to play with guitar would be best to avoid frustrations and pressure.
